Set years before the saga of Geralt of Rivia, The Witcher: Old World takes place in an era when monsters roamed the Continent in greater numbers, posing a constant threat that only expertly trained witchers could handle. Five rival schools trained their adepts through brutal regimens, and once fully prepared, these skilled warriors ventured out into the world, seeking danger, adventure, and coin.

This competitive adventure board game for 2-5 players invites you to travel across a vast map, embark on gripping quests, face tough moral choices, battle monstrous creatures—and even engage in tavern brawls with fellow witchers to uphold your school’s honor!

Players build their own unique decks by selecting from a variety of abilities, including attacks, dodges, and witcher combat magic, known as signs. By crafting strategic card synergies, players unleash powerful combos, making full use of their witcher school’s signature techniques. Through quests, battles, and even dice poker, players earn money, acquire new items, and refine their skills.

The game ends when a player secures 4-6 trophies, a number set at the start of play. Trophies can be earned by slaying monsters, winning chaotic tavern brawls, mastering key attributes, and resolving special quests throughout the adventure.

For those who prefer a solo experience, the game also features a dedicated Solo Mode, allowing players to embark on a solitary journey across the Continent.
