ZIF5030 is a Z-Wave based device with 10 relay outputs and 4 analog/digital inputs designed for mounting on a standard M36 DIN rail (EN50022). The 10 relay outputs can be freely controlled via the Z-Wave network and used for various purposes such as heating control. The 4 inputs are highly flexible and can be configured to function as either digital or analog inputs. When configured as digital inputs, they can be used for connecting potential-free contacts, Open Collector outputs, or S0 outputs (DIN 43864). When configured as analog inputs, they can be used for multiple purposes, as the input circuits are highly flexible. For example, the inputs can be used for 0...10V signals or for measuring resistance values from simple temperature sensors such as NTC or PT1000.
ZIF5030 is powered from the 230V AC mains and is equipped with a 24V DC (25W) output that can, for example, be routed through the relay outputs and used for control purposes. Activation of Z-Wave inclusion and exclusion is done by activating a switch through a hole in the front of the module. ZIF5030 has a LED indicator on the front for status indication.
