The InLine® Network Media Converter 10/100/1000Mb/s TP to FO (SC Duplex), MM, 550m is designed for the migration or expansion of existing networks at low cost. The converter complies with various IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards and has a RJ45 10/100/1000Base-T port and a fiber optic SC duplex module slot. It offers fiber optic connections to wide remote network segments and is also ideally suited for connecting buildings. With the converter it is possible to connect optical networks over distances of up to 550m. This can be achieved by connecting both devices directly via fibre optics. System administrators can use the converters anywhere in the network without making changes to the existing cabling structure.
