The Water Computer makes garden irrigation easier for you, for example when operating sprinklers, a drip irrigation system such as the GARDENA Micro-Drip-System or the GARDENA Sprinklersystem. It controls irrigation reliably in accordance with the programming suggestion, which however you can easily alter if your requirements or experience deviate from any suggestions made. Once programmed, you don't have to worry about watering either in everyday life or during your holiday. Convenient: removable control panel so that you can easily enter your required settings by pressing the keys. Clear display: the selected settings are shown on the clearly-structured LCD display and the settings for irrigation start, duration and frequency can be called up and changed one after the other. Once you have adjusted the settings to your liking, the computer will control the watering procedure precisely according to your wishes. And you can enjoy some leisure time! With a 9 V alkaline battery (not included in delivery), your SelectControl will function reliably for approximately one year. Even more reliable: a low battery level will be indicated to you. That way you know when the battery has to be replaced. As a further option, a Rain Sensor or Soil Moisture Sensor can be connected. This has one major advantage: when it rains, or if the soil is already moist enough, the programmed irrigation is cancelled, thus saving valuable water resources. Intelligent: using the sensor program and a Soil Moisture Sensor, the soil moisture is tested at night, so that irrigation can be initiated if the ground is dry.
