Skittering (eating too quickly and in a hurry) can result in gastric torsion and/or obesity. Symptoms of gastric torsion include: Increased saliva production, distension of the abdominal cavity and empty vomiting. Being overweight has a very detrimental effect on the dog's condition and is also bad for the joints. In addition, a dog ingests a lot of air when it regurgitates, leading to flatulence. 




The Eat Slow Live Longer food bowl makes the dog eat slower and chew better. This has a very positive effect on health and teeth!
